Homemade Enchilada Sauce

(15 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 Tbsp. chili powder
5 Tbsp. green pepper, chopped (optional)
1 tsp. onion powder
1/2 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. garlic powder
1/4 tsp. cumin
1/2 tsp. salt (more to taste)

Combine
all ingredients in saucepan, mixing well. Cook and stir over medium heat until
thickened. Makes 2 cups.
